4-Week Pregnancy Yoga and Movement Course
This course blends whole-body functional movement, Restore Your Core®, One Strong Mama® teachings and birth education in a comprehensive programme for the pregnant body.

Taken as a one-off course, or as a succession of courses throughout your pregnancy, you will prepare your body, mind and pelvic floor for the birth of your baby, as well as learn tools to support your body postnatally.
In addition to the course you will also receive access to online tutorials that focus on alignment, breathing and core engagement in pregnancy, and by request, access to an online exercise resources for common pregnancy issues such as sacroiliac pain (SIJ), tailbone pain, symphysis pubis dysfunction (SPD), back pain and core engagement.

The role of the core and pelvic floor in pregnancy and birth
Breathing techniques for the nervous system
Breathing techniques for birth
Empowerment and self-belief strategies for birth
This course is perfect for all stages of pregnancy from 12 weeks (earlier if consent is given from LMC or GP), right up to your guess date, and is supportive of all birthing choices and outcomes.

Private session
Your 90min initial session includes Restore Your Core® and Body Ready Method teachings to highlight compensations and blindspots and create new patterns of movement for strength and support of your pregnant body. In the session I will assess:
Alignment

Spinal mobility
Pelvic floor awareness
Core engagement
You will receive a bespoke movement video with follow-up exercises and movement strategies to continue your learning and home practice.
These classes are perfect for those wanting to learn how to exercise smartly in their pregnancy, or who are experiencing pelvic pain such as sacroiliac pain (SIJ), tailbone pain, symphysis pubis dysfunction (SPD), back pain, pelvic floor pressure or diastasis recti.
Sessions thereafter will progress your strengthening and mobility practices using Restore Your Core® and Body Ready Method teachings, as well as other yoga, pilates, mobility and functional exercise and breathing practices, with continued movement videos for your learning at home.
Birth Preparation assessment
This 90min private session uses Body Ready Method and Restore Your Core® assessments to evaluate your movement compensations and blindspots to prepare your brain and body to birth with true confidence.
In the session I will assess:

Pelvic floor awareness

Birth Prepared: A Hypnobirthing, Yoga + Movement workshop for expectant parents
Join expert birth professionals Anna Driver (Doula + KGHypnobirthing www.annasbirthservices.com) and Shelley McCarten in a workshop filled with body and mind practices to help you plan and prepare for the birth that you want.
Shelley and Anna will share teachings that distill their combined 15 years of experience working with women and pregnant people.
In this workshop you will:
Learn the role of the core and the pelvic floor in birth
Take part in a movement class with exercises that connect your brain to your body, and open up the pelvis and the hips
Use self-assessment tools to create awareness of your body’s movement patterns and blindspots to prepare it for each stage of the birthing process
Find out why preparing the mind for the birth is so important
Develop practical tools and strategies to nurture your mindset through pregnancy and during birth
Have two opportunities to experience hypnobirthing; to connect with your baby, build confidence and release fear.
This workshop is limited to 8 spots only and will be a non-judgemental, inclusive and safe space for all, supporting all birthing desires and outcomes. We will make time for a cuppa at the end of the workshop to integrate the teachings shared and answer any questions.
You will also be given a short online movement class that includes some of the exercises explored, and a birth-mindset activity for you to complete with your partner, in the comfort of your own home.
